Biography

With more than 15 years of cybersecurity research, Capacity Development, and software research and development experience, Mr. Oichoe leads the Cybersecurity Bureau with extensive business and management expertise. As part of his thought leadership and contribution to the industry, Mr. Oichoe serves as a member of management at the Cybersecurity and Data Protection Experts Association of Kenya (CDEAK), Director at the Israel- Kenya Chamber of Commerce (KICC), Committee member of the Africa Region Cybersecurity forum (Cyfence). Mr. Oichoe has played a key role in the maturity of Cybersecurity uptake in Kenya and the region by influencing Policy and regulatory development in the industry. Being a leader in this industry, his leadership will spearhead the Bureau to the next level in collaboration with all other stakeholders in the industry.
